Personality goes a long way: White Rabbit.

I used the White Rabbit set for some first steps with studio lighting. I used 3 softboxes (70x90cm, 800W). Two from the left without diffuser as my main light. For softer egdes I added the third softbox from the front, left centered.

The Nikon F100 was set to 1/13 at f8.

All of the photos were taken from the second shooting, except the first one in the gallery. The first series came up with great posing, but was a little bit too dark. The light setup with 3 softboxes with diffuser from the left side failed in combination with 1/20 at f8.
But it’s darkness carries also some magic. What bothered more was the fact that I forgot to lit the oil lamp on the side table.
